ld like to thank you for visiting my site. I’m so very happy to share my story with any and all who will listen.
For most of us, there comes a point in your life when you tell yourself ” If I don’t do this now, I’m really going to regret it.” Well for me, this has been the decision to travel the world.
My name is Ryan Martin and I’m a 25 year old guy who has a serious case of the “travel bug.” I’m planning (mostly winging it) a trip of lifetime that is going to carry me all the way around the globe.
As you can probably tell, my passion (what some call an obsession) is travel. It’s all I read about and talk about, even to a fault at times.
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, but lived briefly in Italy and currently live on the island of Maui in Hawai’i. I’ve traveled a fair amount to several locations in South America (Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil), all over Europe as well as Morocco. I’ve also spent a good deal of time on the west and east coasts of the United States.
Some of you may be asking why? My response is why not! What I ask you naysayer is, why is life worth living unless you’re doing the things you love? Personally, if I don’t do it while I have the financial means as well as freedom, I fear I will regret it down the road. I’m also not sure I have completely found myself yet and fully understand what I want. I am hoping this trip will serve as a way to find myself, what I like and dislike as well as allow me grow and learn about other people and cultures along the way.
Finally, this site is a way for friends, family, and those who just love reading about travel to follow my movements around the globe. I look forward to sharing it with whoever will listen and thank you in advance for visiting followmeeverywhere. Sincerely,
